The 2024 Gracias San Antonio: Children Are Citizens program was a resounding success! Over six months, talented artists from across San Antonio collaborated with Pre-K 4 SA classrooms to create stunning, landmark-inspired artwork. From sculptures to digital designs, the creativity on display was awe-inspiring. The culmination of the project was the much-anticipated spring auction, where the children’s chosen nonprofit was the beneficiary of the proceeds. The program not only highlighted the incredible artistic talents of San Antonio’s community but also empowered young students to engage civically and express their visions for their city. It was a beautiful celebration of art, community, and the belief that children are active citizens today.
