AVANCE Joins NCIT

AVANCE, a nonprofit organization dedicated to early childhood and parenting education within Latino communities, has joined the National Collaborative for Infants & Toddlers (NCIT). This partnership aims to advocate for policies that support expectant parents, infants, toddlers, and their families.

AVANCE’s Parent-Child Education Program (PCEP) emphasizes the role of parents as their children’s first teachers and the home as the initial classroom. By collaborating with NCIT, AVANCE seeks to enhance systems of care and support for families during the critical prenatal-to-three period.

Jocelynn Bryant-Rojas, Associate Director of Advocacy at AVANCE, stated that this collaboration amplifies efforts to ensure a strong start for all children, benefiting communities, the workforce, and the overall economy.
